Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you],

:bulletred: God's Mercy and Wrath
Often the wrath of the almighty God remains very much etched into in our minds –the avoidance of which results in our constant attentive and vigilance of deeds, weighing of sinful and rewarding behaviour and actions and our treatment of others to mention just a few...
However, Allah’s Mercy far surpasses His Wrath. Man is given numerous chances and occasions whereby to repent and seek to engage in behaviours and actions that please the God.
The God said in his final testament:
قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَىٰ أَنفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِن رَّحْمَةِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا ۚ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ
Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Interpretation of the meaning of Qur'anic verse 39:53

:bulletred: NO greater LOVE
It was reported that the last prophet of the God -peace be upon him- once said: "ALLAH created mercy in one hundred parts and sent down to earth only one part. Because of this one part there is mutual love amongst creation, so much so that an animal will lift up its hoof from its young one, fearing that it might harm it. ALLAH has reserved the remaining ninety-nine parts of this mercy to favour His believing servants* on the Day of Judgment."
The one single part of Mercy which the God sent down is the cause of all the love and care that is seen on earth by any and all creatures, since creatures first came into existence, until the end of their existence at the end of time.

Allah’s Mercy far exceeds the love and mercy that most of mankind has encountered – even that exhibited by our mothers. Our mothers demonstrate the epitome of unconditional love, mercy, even when on the receiving end of her anger. but God's mercy is much much greater.

The prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him- said: "Indeed, before Allah created the creation, He decreed for Himself, 'Indeed My Mercy prevails over My wrath.”

The last prophet of Islam -peace be upon him- said: “Allah the Most High says: 'O son of Adam! As long as you supplicate to Me and hope in Me, I will forgive you what you have done. O son of Adam! If your sins were to reach the lofty regions of the sky, then you ask Me for forgiveness, I would forgive you. O son of Adam! If you were to come to Me with enough sins to fill the earth, but you met Me not associating anything with Me I would bring you the like of it of forgiveness.”

May we all bear in mind the graces bestowed on us by the God, the innumerable opportunities He provides us for repenting and to become closer to him.
Let us be conscious of God's Mercy AND His Wrath.

I hope this was beneficial

* believing servants: you may ask, "what about the non-believing servants? can't they get God's mercy?"
the answer is "of course they can. All they have to do is to ask for it. the God doesn't deny anyone who asks for his mercy.

More on God's love:

If I am right, it's from the God. if I am wrong, it's from myself.
