Will not remain ignorant by Nayzak Will not remain ignorant by Nayzak
Assalaamu alaikum [Peace be to you],

:bulletblue: Why should we all learn about the prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-?
Mohammed -peace be upon him- came into the world as the Last prophet and Messenger of the God. He -peace be upon him- came in the full blaze of contemporary history. Therefore his life, his works and his achievements are not wrapped in any mystery or conjecture. Every event and every action of his life was most carefully recorded at that time by various people and was preserved lest it should be lost to posterity.

Mohammed -peace be upon him- was the most influential of all prophets. As the Last Messenger of the God, he -peace be upon him- was a man par excellence who pulled the failing and sinking humanity out of the depths of darkness and ignorance. He was the one who saved the human soul from the spiritual bondage and showed to it the path of success and enlightenment.
In every act of his there was meaning and purpose, and in every word of his - there was wisdom and knowledge. Whether it was praying to the God, or advocating democracy or emancipating and upholding women’s rights or advocating the Supreme Human Charter, in fact in all fields of human activities, he -peace be upon him- gave perfect guidance.

Mohammed -peace be upon him- passed through all phases of life and suffered every vicissitude but he surmounted all obstacles and achieved unbelievable success. Whatever he preached, he also practiced. His mission had greatness of purpose. In fact the more one knows about the life and character of the Last Messenger, greater is the reverence for him. Compare the conditions that were prevailing at the time of his advent with the conditions that prevailed at the time of his demise. He -peace be upon him- brought about a total transformation in human life. He brought about a Lasting Revolution. He changed the course of history.

in Islam, the best way to show gratitude to a brother/sister is to pray to the God Almighty to guide them, to correct their thinking and to have mercy on them. I do not think I did anything. it was the God almighty who enlightened your path and it was you who were ready to receive the guidance. but if you really believe I deserve a little gratitude then a little prayer to the God almighty to guide me and correct my thinking would make me happy.

peace be to you.

I ALWAYS pray for you, my dear Brother.  I thank God/Allah for your presence here in my life and so many lives and the way you change hearts and educate with your artwork.  I pray that nothing but the very best happens for you if it is in God's will.  I thank God/Allah for helping me to see the TRUE Islam, and I thank Him for using you to help teach me.  I will definitely pray for you, my dear Brother, as I always have and always will!

Peace be upon you!

Ignorance is a horrible trait. I have a question, though. Didn't Muhammad marry a nine year old?

I studied the claim of the 9 years old bride. it's a big controversy. you find some Muslim scholars go and justify by saying it was the custom of the Arabs at that time or that she was mentally mature. but to tell the truth, I didn't find any strong evidence of this claim. I'm talking about evidence and not justification.
as a matter of fact, there are more evidences that she was from 14 to 18 years old. and the God knows best.
but you know, 9 years old makes good news for those who like to bash the prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-.

if you're interested, please have a look at these articles:
Was Ayesha A Six-Year-Old Bride?  www.ilaam.net/Articles/Ayesha.…
Ayesha's Age www.ilaam.net/Articles/Ayeshas…

I hope this helps

by the way, regardless of your beliefs, my respects for you for asking and liking to study. :D

What do you count as disrespect?
Reply
:iconnayzak:
Nayzak Featured By Owner Jun 20, 2014
any lack of respect or insulting statement.
any offensive statement against the God almighty, the prophets of the God, my religion (or any other religion), people, me...

for example, the guy who wrote the comment above showed disrespect of the prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him-, which is a disrespect to me as a follower of the prophet, therefore he got banned.

but there is difference between disrespectful comment and disagreement. I accept disagreements as long as they are not disrespectful.

Oh, alright. At least you aren't promoting ignorance. I have a question. You think it's okay that Mohammed married a nine to fourteen year old girl in his later years? That question has always bothered me.

I believe there are two sides regarding the prophet's marriage to his young wife Ayesha:
a- her being nine years old. I have read a lot about this issue but found no proof that she was nine when the prophet married her. I believe there is more evidence that she was from 14 to 18. I can't have anything to say about an unproven claim.
b- the age difference. I believe it was accepted in that time. even today there are some couples with big age gap. and as long as they are consenting to the marriage, who am I to say it's wrong?

please have a look at these articles. they may give you another perspective:
- Was Ayesha A Six-Year-Old Bride? www.ilaam.net/Articles/Ayesha.…
- Ayesha's Age www.ilaam.net/Articles/Ayeshas…
I hope this helps.

I'm just honestly confused why you enjoy being a member of a group that is historically insane, believes in fairy tales and encourages its followers to be violent towards non-believers.

Don't you think you'd be happier WITHOUT Islam? I mean you could do what you'd like then.

Hopefully one day you'll realise that you've wasted thousands of days of your life worshipping thin air..

First, as far as I know, I belong to the group of people that made one of the greatest civilizations in world history. you and everybody else are indebted to my ancestors for most of what you use in your daily life. we do not believe in fairy tales. we believe in science and use reason and rational thinking. our religion teaches us to be nice to everybody and to fight only when we are fought ad never to start hostilities.

I don't think I can find happiness without Islam. Islam is part of me. It's part of my personality. between "doing what I like" and "doing what I need to do", reason tells me to choose "what I need to do". it may not always fit my desires, but I'm certain it's something I will not regret. I'm a person guided by his mind and not by his heart.

You think someday I'll realize I was worshipping thin air? well, I'm SURE someday you'll realize rejecting a REAL God? hopefully you realize that before it's too late.
may the God almighty guide you and correct your thinking.
Ameen

I have seen movie from him and how he become a prophet and all that. surely it was just compressed for a movie, but had the basic information.
yet I have to say they should do the movie again, there is many beautiful movies made from religion. like that prince of egypt from dreamworks and jospeh king of dreams from same studio. and there is also that anime from jesus and that of course passion of the christ.

side of those the mohammad movie looked quite lame, I don't say the idea of movie was bad,. I say the movie it self was bad. implementation of the movie was bad. drawing style was quite lame and music wasn't anything you remember after the movie ends. this kind of stuff.

but I'm getting off topic here.
