Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you],

there is this joke I read a few days ago. I found it funny and wanted to share it with you guys and girls. hope you understand the message and spread the word if you like it.

The story is not mine. I found it in internet. but of course, I added some of my ingredients to it as usual.

if you don't like it, it's fine. someone can't please all the world. but I really appreciate if you try to be polite and respectful even if you don't agree. if you can't, just ignore my artwork and leave in peace.

also, non-constructive critiques are not welcomed. (^_^)

Salam [peace]

Impressive. I love the waf waf near the and, too.

You did mention that you find the story in internet. Could you have credited the one who uploaded it or was it anonymous?

I would love to avoid discrimination by avoiding the direct mentioning of real-life ethnic to be blamed like "New Yorker" or "American".
You might have, like, parodied those ethnics like e.g. "New Jorker" as well as "Mamerican" so that those of the non-fictional races doesn't feel discriminated.

But I do get mad when I see our local news writer often use and misinterpret "jihad" in sense of muslim terrorism, whereas it essentially means "struggling".
Even if you take a look at, once you enter "jihad" you know what I meant, by comparing the different interpretation and in which place do they take.
Neshi-Farfarer Featured By Owner Oct 14, 2014
Um, thank you for the laughs. I'm sorry! And yes, yes agreed. Do keep up the good work, sir Nayzak.

Right. Even if the reporter was still influenced by his biases, he still could have seen it as "Oh! They're actually NOT as bad as we thought they were! Huh..." And then written "Good Arab Saves Girl From Mauling".

People are people, after all. Regardless of ethnicity or creed or age or gender or background or status or nationality or religion or whatever other boundary whether geographic or otherwise, every life is equally precious, yes?

nice, this story truly has a message, not all muslims are terrorists.

Sadly it is true. I hate that people do this. I can't see the difference between a New yorker and a Muslim. If someone helps somebody is good, but if he/she is a muslim is a bad person. What is the logic?
I saw an article like this in a newspaper the lat year, but it was but that was about a robbery. A muslim help a woman that a man would kidnap for the "Trata de blancas" and the reporter said that a"damn muslim" hurts a "poor man" then was olny flirting a woman ("Un maldito musulman casi mata a un pobre hombre que estaba piropeando a una chica" This was the notice [I can't translate literally]

But what makes me happier is that people treated like him don't need their reward from the public. They'll get it from Allah (SWA)

I think kicking the dog was a bit much, it would be better just to restrain the dog while the girl got away. Still, the message is good.
Nayzak Featured By Owner Feb 21, 2013
he didn't kick a dog. he kicked a mad dog.
and don't tell me if you saw a mad dog about to attack a little girl, you would go and restrain it gently. because I wouldn't believe.

I hate it when people do this. They treat other people from certain countries like they are from another planet and they have come to take over the human race. When I lived in Chicago I went to a private school, and the staff and about 80% of the students there were Muslim. One of my best friends was Muslim and we got along great. Sure, not everybody is good, but that goes for all of us. Whats sad is that most Americans fail to realize that Muslims are people too, and like the rest of us should be treated with respect and kindness, not by thinking auto Arab = Muslim = Terrorist. Sometimes you have to wonder about how these people got these lies into their heads. Just because hes Muslim and not American they give him a bad title even though HE was the one that SAVED that little girl.

And I can see why you said ( Saudi Arabia ) because people think that everyone living there is Muslim and a terrorist ( As usual ) but if you say ( Egypt ) they might think it's a Christian or anything else , anyway , good work ^^
SosoSurprise Featured By Owner Sep 29, 2012  Hobbyist
nah, they'll still think he's a terrorist if it was said he is from Egypt you know the stupid logic
Arab = Muslim = terrorist -_-"
Yami-D-Sparx Featured By Owner Oct 3, 2012
True , but when it comes to Egypt , they might think for a little and ask :
"Muslim or Christian ?" because Egypt has the biggest number of Christians in the Arabian world . They're only 5 millions out of 80 though XD
SosoSurprise Featured By Owner Oct 3, 2012  Hobbyist
haha thats true xD
"sir are you a Muslim or a Christian"
"take a wild guess!!!"
SosoSurprise Featured By Owner Oct 3, 2012  Hobbyist
but imagine if it is with a Lebanese, Syrian or even Moroccan xD
Yami-D-Sparx Featured By Owner Sep 27, 2012
Truthful . If somebody non-muslim does wrong , they'll just say ( A certain guy did this and that ) but once a Muslim does wrong against the teachings of his faith they'll go ( Islamic terrorist does this and that ) and the thing he did isn't that big really . For instance , you have Burma ! more than 30 thousands were doomed , and the media remained silent , but after those vulgar filthy scums made the movie and only FOUR people were killed , America now tries to set foot in Libya ! how can they compare between 30 thousand and 4 people ? such hypocrisy !

Sadly, this sounds about right. :( The American media is not kind to people who are different from the Christian mainstream.

Wiccans get a similar treatment, only instead of being painted as terrorists, we're treated like a bunch of flaky teenagers. The net result is the same though--people who don't know about Wicca tend to treat us badly.

Here's to honesty and equality among members of different religions! Salaam!
nisanmanal Featured By Owner Dec 24, 2011
hmm haha, its funny, but sadly true.. a hypodermic bullet theory from media. the people who only know the truth is the victim and Allah. hehe, the expression of the characters really say something.
