My Savior

Assalaamu alaikum [peace be to you],

^{Warning: The subject of this article may contradict some people's religious opinions. here, I am not talking about other religions. I am talking about Islam. if religious issues upset or offend you, then read no more. this article is only for those interested to know and understand the truth about Islam.}


Who is our savior?

In a store, a little old lady with a big shopping cart was making her wait through a very narrow aisle, so a girl stepped aside as the old lady walked by. Instead, the old woman stopped dead in her tracks..
Little Old Lady (staring at the girl up and down and very amused): Oh! Hello there!
the girl (caught off guard): Um, hello.
Little Old Lady: Where are you from!
the girl:Um, here.
Little Old Lady: Oh wow, and you dress like that? (referring to the niqab). Is that your custom?
the girl: It’s part of my religion, I’m a Muslim.
Little Old Lady: Oh, how sweet. Do you beleive in Jesus?
the girl: Yes, I do. I beleive he’s a Prophet of God.
Little Old Lady: Oh yes, and he’s our savior.
the girl: Well…God is my savior.


Some Christians have told me that Jesus -peace be upon him- has turned their life around, in that they were once lost, now they are found. In that they were drunkards, drug users, abusers, and that Jesus has made them change their wicked ways. That is Wonderful, this is similar to Prophet Mohammed -peace be upon him- ending the evil practices of burying newborn girls alive besides other vices for many from the past to the present.
Many of us get inspired by some righteous persons from the past and this inspiration changes our lives. does this mean these inspiring people were the saviors who save people's lives?
Islam tells us that the only savior is the God almighty. he alone saves us. guidance comes from Allah alone.

So I invite you to know Allah. our one and only savior!


who is Allah ?

Allah is the God of Abraham -peace be upon him-. the God of Adam, Noah, Moses, Jesus and Mohammed -peace be upon them all-. our Creator, our Resurrector. the master of the universe. the Merciful and loving God. Allah is the Arabic name for the God as in the Christian Arabic Bible. if you check Genesis 1:1, for example, the name "Allah" is used to mean the God.

Allah can give you the added strength and the Faith you need to be on the Right Path. Allah is Great in saving us from the addictions and temptations of this world, and helps to heal the past wounds, Through giving us additional Hope and Faith.
Allah gave us bountiful knowledge and spiritual guidance in his final testament: the Qur'an. In the Qur'an, you can know the God directly from his own words, not the words of historians or scholars. not the words of preachers and priests. the words of the God himself.

The God is the most forgiving and most merciful. The God told us in the Qur'an that Adam -peace be upon him- was forgiven the same moment he repented. in Islam, the God does not need blood to forgive man. he Judges each individual fairly and rules with mercy and ultimate justice. anyone who asks for forgiveness and mercy will get it.


The Christ Jesus -peace be upon him- was a messenger of the God. he was righteous and good like other prophets. but he doesn't give us any protection (neither does any prophet of the God -peace be upon them all-). Jesus didn't give protection to his apostles. Jesus asked Allah to save him when his enemies wanted to harm him. he prayed and asked Allah to be his savior. and guess what? Allah saved him.

if you love Jesus -peace be upon him-, that is great, you can continue to Love Jesus -peace be upon him-, but worship only the Creator of Jesus, Allah almighty. the only one worthy of worship.

Everyone can be saved by the God. all you need to do is know him, worship him, and ask him to save you.
If you do this little, he will do the rest. ^_^
